2. General progress on release 0.0.4

Gary is working on a new utility "seealso" to list other applications in the same group.

Another useful utility would be "appdoc" to print the program documentation as text. Peter will look into this as part of the web documentation conversion.

Ian would like Val to test the original PLPLOT examples to try to reproduce the colour map problems, so that there is more chance of a reaction from the PLPLOT maintainers and list.

The second PLPLOT problem (possible X11 release problem) can be reproduced on one machine at HGMP.

5. Documentation

Ian and Peter have been reviewing the source documentation. So far it seems to be very good and little has needed updating. Other authors are invited to take a look through the library routines they most need, and check that the documentation is up to the standard they require.

Gary is starting to update the application documentation for programs starting with 's'

The DNA melting functions need some extra comments to distinguish between the versions for dan and prima.

Ian will be leaving the Sanger Centre on July 14th.
