1. Matters Arising

Alan has implemented the -data command line option for the programs chaos, banana, pepinfo and prettyplot. The option for cirDNA and linDNA needs implementing but this will be easiest with the help of the original authors. Databases indexed by dbigcg can now be be retrieved on accession number. EMBOSS now works with blast databases formatted using the -v option (producing output in sections).

Alan is working on implementing wild card retrieval on accession numbers.

Alan reported that the EMBOSS cvs repository has been set up on the bioperl machine to allow for a writeable cvs tree. The license agreement for the Staden GUI has been completed and the code will be made available soon.

Jon is working on software to parse and "clean up" PDB for EMBOSS.

Tim has committed plotcon.
