1. Matters Arising

Gary has continued tidying documentation and working on his character-based EMBOSS interface.

Alan has fixed a bug with the -supper / -slower options (conversion of sequence case was applied to first sequence only).

Alan has implemented retrieval of whole database entries for embl and genbank format flat files. The new application entret can be used to retieve entries. He has also added the ajStrFindCase functions (for case-insensitive string searches). He has rewritten the profile library routines - PROPHET should not be so fragile now. Percent ID and percent similarity statistics have been added to NEEDLE and WATER.

Ranjeeva is working on the sscop application for parsing SCOP.
