1. Matters Arising

Alan has been purifying applications.

Gary has worked on ajtranslate and tidying up the web pages.

Tim has carried out more work on the Java GUI.

Jon reported that the following applications had been completed, documented and committed: Siggen - generation of protein family signatures from sequence alignments and residue contact data. Sigscan - matching a signature against swissprot.

He has added library code for signatures to ajxyz.c (including AjPSignature structure, constructors, destructors etc). He has added code for dynamic character arrays to ajarr.c.

Ranjeeva has worked on and been testing seqsort for sorting psiblast results.

Lisa has been evalutating GUIs for EMBOSS

Thomas has been modifying SRS to integrate EMBOSS programs (will be able to run EMBOSS applications through SRS).

Peter has been working on features. He reported that EMBOSS is reading swissprot features now.
